Luxembourg Pride Date
Luxembourg Pride is set to take place on the second Saturday in July each year. It was formely known as “GayMat”, but changed to the more internationally recognizable name of Luxembourg Pride in 2019.
When is the Luxembourg Pride taking place in 2026?
In 2026, the main parade (Equality March) is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, while the Pride Week lasts from July 2 to July 11.
There will be a Street Festival as one highlight of the Pride on Friday, July 10 and Saturday, July 11.
After this open-air festival took place in Esch-sur-Alzette in 2025, in 2026 it will be taking place in the capital.
The stages are on Place Guillaume II (Knuedler) featuring music, stalls, food, and a family-friendly program. The City Hall Stage will feature diverse artists, speeches, and performances, while the Village Stage is mostly for electronic music.
On Friday the program starts at the City Stage and lasts from 4:00 PM till 10:30PM with Luxembourg’s Eurovision candidate Eva Marija, drag queen Bambi Mercury and music from evemesoul b2b djaura, Kings of Cologne and Kiddy Smile.
On Saturday the program starts after the Equality March at 2:30 PM until 10:30 PM. There will be many acts at the City Stage, starting from the Queer Choir Luxembourg to singers and DJs later on. At the same time there will be DJs playing electronic beats at the Village Stage.
While the Pride returns to Luxembourg City in 2026, the Pride will alternate between the Esch-sur-Alzette and Luxembourg City moving onward.
What is the main party at Luxembourg Pride?
In 2025 the main after party took place at Lenox in Luxembourg City, which hosted the Official WR Pride Party. WR Party usually hosts a party three or four times a year. Check out their Instagram for more infos. For 2026 they have not posted any details yet.

There used to be one gay bar, Letz Boys, in Luxemborug, which sadly seems to have closed down in 2026.
Pride Route Luxembourg
The Pride Parade takes place in Luxembourg City for the first time in over 15 years.
Luxembourg Pride Starting Time
The parade starts at 01.30PM at Junction Rue de Strasbourg/Avenue de la Liberté (between Place de Paris & Gare Centrale). Groups start to gather at 12:30PM. The parade will last for around 1 hour.
