Bristol Pride

Bristol Pride is the largest Pride event in South West England. It brings together tens of thousands of people every July and is held across two weeks. Its highlight is Pride Day on The Downs with a festival that combines world-class performances with a festival like celebration. Bristol Pride Date

Bristol Pride usually takes place on the second Saturday in July each year. 

When is the Bristol Pride taking place in 2026?

In 2026, the main parade is scheduled for Saturday, July 11. The Pride Festival takes place from June 27 until July 12.

There will be 250 artists across multiple stages on The Downs on Pride Day. 

Similar to other UK prides such as Birmingham and Manchester, you need to buy tickets to access the Pride Festival. However, they offer different pricing options depending on how much you can afford or are able to support, with the lowest priced one being quite affordable.

What is the main party at Bristol Pride?

There is an official after party taking place at O2 Academy on Saturday, 11 July. It starts at 10PM and entrance is 13 pounds. It will offer 3 different dance floors to enjoy different DJs and music from.

Bristol Pride Route

People gather in Castle Park by St Peters Church from 10:30 AM and and the march will depart at around 11AM and head through the city centre, then onwards to the Harbourside.

Once the Parade ends there will be dedicated Pride shuttle buses run to The Downs from the Ampitheatre. The shuttle buses remain free to use all day for those with a Pride Ticket / Wristband or charged at first bus prices for those without.
