Dresden Pride, also known as CSD Dresden, takes place as a LGBTQ+ celebration in a traditionally conservative region. Dresden Pride Date
Dresden Pride kicks off the pride season in Germany, being one of the first pride events to launch the CSD season already at the end of May / beginning of June.
When is the Dresden Pride taking place in 2027?
In 2026, the Pride Parade was taking place on Saturday, June 6.
In 2027 the Pride Parade will take place on Saturday, May 29.
In 2025 the Pride celebrations started already two weeks ahead with a Pride Opening Party of the well established BOYTOX party at Deutsches Hygiene Museum.
Last year there was another edition of BOYTOX at Biergarten Alberthafen on the Pride weekend.
Pride Route Dresden
From Altmarkt, the route proceeds along Prager Straße, then turns onto St. Petersburger Straße. The march continues to Terrassenufer, then crossing the Albertbrücke into the Neustadt district, the parade moves along Hoyerswerder Straße and Rothenburger Straße to Bischofsweg. It continues via Königsbrücker Straße, passes through Albertplatz, and continues along Königsstraße and Große Meißner Straße, crossing back over the Elbe via the Augustbrücke, the parade returnes to Altmarkt for its conclusion.
Dresden Pride Starting Time
The march usually commerces at Altmarkt, Seestraße, around 12:00 pm.
The CSD Dresden parade is expected to return to the starting point at Altmarkt around 4:00 pm.
