About

This page is called LGBT-Prides —yet it is not just four letters, it represents the whole rainbow. The name reflects a long-standing and recognizable part of our community’s history, but our purpose goes far beyond just four letters. This page is committed to creating a space that embraces all sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions—including queer, intersex, asexual, nonbinary, pansexual, and beyond. This page is expressly for all LGBTQIA+, questioning, curious, loud and proud, still figuring it out, or for anyone who is just here to support and learn. Whether you’ve got a label, ditched the labels, or are still browsing the label aisle— you are most welcome here.

Mission

This website was born out of a simple fact: Pride still matters. Now, maybe more than ever. For a while, it seemed like the fight for queer rights had come a long way—rainbows on sneakers, corporations sponsoring parades, marriage equality in more countries. But then the political winds started to shift. In some parts of the world, things start to go backwards. Laws get uglier, hate gets louder, and suddenly those big, colorful marches that some said had “lost their edge” started looking like lifelines again.

This space was created to shine a spotlight on Pride events around the world as bold acts of protest, visibility, and love. The mission is to enable to discover, plan and celebrate Pride Parades while also sounding the alarm: LGBTQ+ rights are under attack, and we’re not going back quietly. Pride is powerful—and we’re here to document that power, amplify it, and remind each other why it still matters.

This page is about all of us, and we’ve got room for every color, stripe, and sparkle.

Vision

The vision is clear: A world where Pride is everywhere—not just once a year, not just in big cities, and not just when it’s safe or convenient. A world where LGBTQ+ people can be as visible or loud or quiet as they want to be, without fear. This page is contributing as an aid to go along this way.
