Warsaw Pride

The Warsaw Pride, also called Equality Parade (Parady Równości), is the biggest Pride event in Poland is taking place in its capital Warsaw. The march and an international audience support the LGBTQ+ rights in a country where activism is still very crucial to increase visibility of the community.

When is the Warsaw Pride taking place in 2025?

In 2025, the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 14.

Warsaw Pride Route

Updated Route! The route will start again at the Cultural Palace, but the Norther side at Świętokrzyskiej. The route in 2025 will be shorter as last year, which means less walking and more energy for the party after. The route will follow Marszałkowską, Senatorską, Miodową and Krakowskim Przedmieściem and retun via Świętokrzyską before reaching the Cultural Palace again. 

Warsaw Pride Starting Time

Start of the March is at 02:00 pm at the Cultural Palace at Świętokrzyskiej. Arrive early, as events at the “Town of Equality”  start from 11:00.

End of the March is around 04:00 pm. At the Town of Equality there will be events going on from 4:00 pm until 09:00 pm.

What is the main After Party at Warsaw Pride?

The main After Party will take at LaPose from 9:00 p.m. Make sure to be early, as there is free entry until 18:00 pm. There will be a full programme, starting with bingo, drag shows and a wild party later in the evening.

When did Warsaw Pride first take place?

The Warsaw Equality Parade (Parada Równości) began in 2001 as a small demonstration for LGBTQ+ rights. Despite facing significant opposition in its early years—including a ban by city officials in 2005—the parade persisted and became a symbol of resilience for the LGBTQ+ community. 

How many visitors to Warsaw pride?

It is the largest LGBTQ+ pride parade in Central and Eastern Europe and has been recognized as the first pan-European pride event to take place in a former Communist bloc nation. Starting from a small event, the number of attendees has risen to 150,000 attendees in 2023. In 2024, the number saw a sharp decline to 20,000 people due to a split among organizers that led to three separate pride events in June.
